A brand new idea for cartoon reboot movies

Now,I know i'm not the only one who thinks live-action cartoon movies are going down the same road as video game movies as is most of them are complete flops.
But maybe i've thought of saving this genre with some simple steps.
1.keep the movie animated,preferably hand drawn animation.
2.no having the characters going into our world.if the original cartoon was set in the middle ages,then KEEP IT IN IT'S ORIGINAL SETTING! That means magical spells,no portals to our world,NOTHING!
3.no product placement or pop culture references to move the plot along. It just makes your film looks tacky,and the movie will become more and more outdated as years go by.
4.try to get the original voice acters from the show.if not,then at least try to get so me celebritis that can some what Mimic the personalities of the characters.
And those are my 4 easy steps to fix the cartoon reboot movie genre.
Yes,I know some of these things have been said before but I think some of these steps could bee useful.
